INFORMATION & POLICIES
PAYMENT POLICIES
1. Prices reflect a 16-week semester. Students registering for private lessons after the beginning of the semester pay a pro-rated price based on the number of weeks remaining in the semester. Group classes are generally available only for the semester, but please call to verify enrollment policies for any class in which you may be interested.
2. Students signing up in the fall for the entire year pay twice the tuition or class fee shown. Only one processing fee and one installment fee (if any) will be charged. If the installment plan is chosen, the payment for the year must be paid in the first three installment payment dates given in the calendar. Only one registration fee and one installment fee (if any) will be charged.
3. If total tuition for a semester (or year) exceeds $280, you may make three equal payments through the installment plan. Under this plan, the processing fee, installment fee and one-third of the tuition are payable upon registration. Second and third payments are made during the 4th and 8th weeks of the term. The installment plan may not be used for students registering after the 4th week of the semester.
4. Payment is by check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. If your account is not current, you may not take further classes or lessons until outstanding balances are paid.
5. If your check is returned by the bank as unpayable, subsequent payment can only be made by money order or certified check.
6. Students may audit one session of any class without charge. Please call the Registration Office at 718-622-3300 for details.
