WEN CHANG-LIT MA, MT-BC Music Therapy Wen Chang-Lit is a board-certified music therapist, music performer (violinist and piano), and violin and piano teacher. Wen holds an MA in music therapy from New York University and a BM in music performance from Mannes The New School University for Music. Prior to entering music therapy profession, Wen has had nine years of teaching experience as a violin and piano instructor. She has taught over fifty students throughout these years with ages ranged from 4 to 70 years old. Wen also provides therapeutic lessons. As a music therapist, Wen has served a variety of population, including infants in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, pediatric medical patients, children with special needs and emotional difficulty, geriatric patients with Alzheimer and Dementia, and end of life work. In addition to music therapy, Wen actively performs as a violinist with Greenwich Village Orchestra and Noah and the Megafauna- an indie rock gypsy jazz style band- in which she also takes part in music arrangement. Wen is expecting to be certified as a Child Life specialist and is pursuing Analytic Music Therapy Training with Benedikte Scheiby.
